Pricing

Pricing

In the spirit of Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead’s recent “pay what you want” CD releases I have decided to try an experiment with a new pricing structure.

I will photograph a concert as your representative and provide you with high quality images that convey the mood and energy of the band. Once you have seen the images you decide what they are worth to you. You set the price and I will license that image to you for whatever price you decide. (For those that have asked what is normal for concert photography there is a calculator here.)

The only catch is that you will have to pay travel expenses for my assistant and I to get to the show. I am based out of Austin Texas so there are no travel expenses in that area. For shows in Houston, San Antonio or Dallas/Fort Worth the cost would be a flat $200. For areas that are further away contact me at hanswatson@gmail.com and I will send you a written proposal listing estimated travel costs. Travel expenses must be paid at least one week prior to the show and you will be responsible for getting “Hans Watson+1″ added to the press list for the show.

Musicians pour passion into their live shows and my goal is to capture an image that conveys that passion and makes the fans want to see that band in concert.
