Joe Frost is the cousin of famous bull rider Lane Frost who died in the arena in Cheyenne Wyoming. Lane’s death resulted in the invention of the protective vest that most bull riders wear today. Joe can be seen wearing one of those vests in this image. In 1994 a movie about Lane’s life was released starring Luke Perry and Stephen Baldwin.
